Designed to carry an equal amount of camera and personal gear, the Passport Sling offers flexibility and comfort when using it around town or sightseeing. Wear it across the body, high and close or low and loose, depending on your activity. The shoulder strap features a cam lock buckle that easily adjusts for an ideal fit, plus a removable, sliding shoulder pad that offers cushioned comfort when you need it. On the exterior, two slash pockets and a water bottle pocket provide quick access to maps, guide books, boarding passes - anything you want to grab in a flash. Inside, the Passport Sling is fully equipped to protect your DSLR and a few accessories as well as offer plenty of space for your personal items. Unzip the front of the Passport Sling to reveal an expansion compartment that adds approximately 30% more space - enough to accommodate items like a light jacket, lunch, cool souvenir or farmers’ market find. A fully padded camera box (with built-in memory card pocket) protects your DSLR when you’re wearing the bag. Remove it and collapse the box when you want to pack the Passport Sling in a larger bag for travel. Additional features include: contrast lining on pockets and interior to provide high visibility to gear; a removable, padded divider with a wing to customize your camera kit; plus two interior pockets with Velcro closures - ideal for stashing personal electronics, keys or other small items. The Passport Sling is available in Black and Mica.

This review is from: Lowepro Passport Sling Camera Bag (Mica) (Electronics)
Although this bag is just big enough for the typical DSLR (I use it for a Nikon D7000 and telephoto lens) it still feels like just barely enough space. There are pockets on the outside of the bag that cannot be closed in any way and they usually remain in the wide open position allowing anyone near you a clear view of the contents. The manual that came with the bag suggested that this is a great place to store your passport, boarding pass, etc. NOT! This bag is a pickpockets dream and attracts them like a magnet. On the Paris metro in NYC and London it seemed to draw pickpockets like free money, even when these pockets were empty they just had to have a look. You can stand next to someone with this bag and easily steal anything from the outer pockets making keeping anything in them useless. The big problem with these pockets is that you will be tempted to use them when when you are in a hurry. ie: change from buying gelato - stolen from the pocket; extra metro passes - stolen; sun glasses - stolen; map - stolen; car keys - stolen. You get the idea. Don't use these pockets if you take this bag into a public place period. This simple oversight really makes the bag next to useless for travel. If you put everything in the large compartment with your camera, not only is it a pain to find things, but each time you open the main compartment your camera is in plan view as well as anything else you have in there. Very annoying. I saw the marketing video for the bag on Amazon with the cute girl. She probably made me buy it. When I looked at it again I saw the pockets on hers were wide open as well. I guess if you are walking around San Francisco you don't have much to worry about.
It really does look like a cheap camera bag and is not fashionable at all. It tends to look frumpy, wrinkled and unkempt. I was often asked when traveling what type of camera I had as people just assumed it was a camera bag. So much for incognito. It tends to scream "American tourist", especially if you put your water bottle in the suggested "water bottle" pocket. On the positive side it does seem very durable.
