Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?) Oh when I got this in I was completely in awe of its beauty. It is a heavy piece but when holding it in hand and examining it you can understand why. This really is a steal at the price it's being offered for and is a piece that any man of knowledge and taste is going to truly love.
I gave this to my dear hubby to wear and try out as I can't wear anything with weight after having broken both wrists. Well let me tell you he is like a kid in a candy store. This is not his first Invicta watch but I am sure it is his favorite.
Now I will tell you what he thought of this timepiece.
Quote "Since I favor date and day watches, it was nice to see what a cronograph could do. The first thing I had to do was get it sized as it was way too big for my 7 inch wrist. Instead of buying the kit to do it myself I took it to the local jeweler and he sized it for me for only $5. That was a bargin and I got to brag about it at the same time. It fits beautifully now and the weight of it is well destributed. Wonderfully comfortable. I was surprised to see what looked like screw in pins on the links but they actually were press in. Guess I got some education on that front.
I love the push button clasp as it is just a wonderful addition to an already wonderful piece. The biggest problem I had was how to use the cronograph and after reading the instructions about 10 times and playing with the pushers I was finally able to figure it out.
The Tritnites Luminosity is quite bright but it does dim after an hour and is visable for a long time thereafter. I have read a few descriptive write-ups on this watch and they say it has a unidirectional bezel but darn it I can find it. I really don't think it does but will keep on checking. The only changes I would make would be to switch the second hand subdial to the main second hand and to add more increments to the subdials.
All in all it is a true work of beauty and I will be forever happy with it. This is one sweet very well made and indistructable timepiece. It does have a 5 year warrenty with it which I was quite delighted with. Don't think I will need use it with something this well made though. Invicta watches are true craftsmanship and worth every $$$."
Okay so I hope this helped some of you gents and ladies too if you are looking to buy this for yourself or someone else. I do have to say that we usually have champagne taste on a water budget and this is one item that is well worth working into the water budget. Duribility, craftsmanship, precision, beauty all that comes from a watchmaker that takes true pride in their product.
