Use of an aftermarket seat cover will void the car seat warranty and could interfere with proper functioning of the seat. These covers are not approved by Britax, nor any other car seat manufacturer. They have not been crash tested with every seat to evaluate how well they work with the seat in an accident. FMVSS Federal Safety Standards requires car seat manufacturers to make their seat covers fire retardant. Aftermarket seat covers may not be. Any properly educated Child Passenger Safety Technician would advise against use of such a product.
