We really wanted to keep this car seat. Loved the color and size , but found the chest clip tremendously difficult to use. We currently have two Graco car seats (snugride 32 and a convertible to 65 lbs model) and both are easy enough to open with two hands.
The Evenflo is EXTREMELY difficult to open. There's a button that must be depressed enough to get under the plastic clip, so it's a matter of pressing and holding and sliding all at the same time. Add to that some tugging and grunting and you can imagine how well this woudl play out with a frustrated toddler in there.
I latched and unlatched it 20 times and decided it just wasn't worth it. We won't even install ... it's going back.
