It's rare that I spend big bucks on a brand name product if I can buy a generic brand for a lot less. But in this case it was worth it because the case fits like a glove dSLR camera. I paid fifty bucks for this case (price is creeping up) and I feel it was worth it. Some times it makes no sense to skimp on things if they protect your big purchase. When you have an expensive dSLR camera you need to protect it from dust, dirt, weather elements etc. This case fits perfectly Canon Rebel T1i, T2i, T3i with 18-55 mm lens atttached. The case is exactly what I hoped it would be. It is light, soft (spongey) and has a short strap that snaps around the wide Canon strap that comes with the camera so you can have the case dangle while you're taking pictures (or remove it if you prefer). It is not a bag and there are no extra pockets. Think of it as a glove rather then a pocket. I'm very happy with this purchase, although realistically the price should be ten dollars - but we live in the brand obsessed society, so that will not happen. Now if only Canon would make a camera cap that attaches to camera itself, so I wouldnt' lose it! All those velcro leashes are pretty useless.
