They have an abnormally high arch and are kind of stiff which made them uncomfortable when new. Wore in a bit after some time.

The height is lower than most boots and there seems to be not enough material available right at the top where the laces get tied together making it seem like the laces will slip over the top and ride against my ankle. It doesn't happen but it seems like it will every time I've laced them up.

Also, the tongue is weird because it doesn't tuck in like every other pair of hiking boots I've ever had. There are spaces on each side from about half way up so water and dirt will get in very easily besides having to 'train' it where to sit when doing them up.

Breathability is nonexistent making them uncomfortably warm for 75 degrees and up.

And lastly, they really look fat and stubby like a club foot.
