I got the HT-x70 from Fry's for $300 (incl tax), great deal !. It has great sound completely fills our room. We have a small room. But I never have to go above vol level 20, its pretty loud. Even at higher volumes I dont hear any distortion in sound. I am no audiophile, but I love the sound, completely satisfied.
Features I liked:
* Ability to set the volume level for center and SW. Also the balance.
* You can change the disc while one is playing.
* MP3 playback is very good, you can browse thru the directories.
Cons:
* Sometimes the disc doesnt load, if there are more discs in the system, especially if you do disc skip fairly quickly. You have to restart the system. Else you can do the disc change slowly.
