To get the most use of a meter and avoid frustration and accidents a good set of probes is needed. This is a great package to cover a very wide set of circumstances and application areas. This set is a bargain at Amazon's price; which was 35% off list. The options available in this one kit handle almost everything you would want. One probably already has regular alligator clip probe attachments that came with their meter or purchased separately so it's probably good they are not duplicated here to keep the price reasonable. You might not need something like the lug connectors very often, but boy when you need them are they ever great. With the regular probes (with some attachements), and a separate set of completely modular leads and attachements, one can keep a couple common configurations quickly available even if it means changing leads rather than just connectors. I don't how the case will hold up, but it seems fine to me given the price, I'm very glad they included it. The case has several internal compartments; I wish they all had velcro closures, but only the replacable connectors compartment/pouch is velcro sealed. Not a big deal, I'll just had my own hook and loop fasteners as the probe/cable pouches don't need to be sealed across their entire length, they just need a latch. The case itself has a good velcro closure. Great value for the money, and nice to have everything together when you need something different/special.
