The stand comes with great instructions for how to assemble, even a dummy like me managed to do it without a problem though it took me a couple of hours.
It is heavier than it looks and supports without a problem my Samsung 46" LCD tv.
If you are looking for a nice looking stand to put in a corner- I reccomend it.
