First of all, I must say that the Miyako Ceramics knives are not my first ceramic knifes. I've purchased other brands on Amazon like the Shenzhen and was impressed with the sharpness, but not the overall quality.
The Miyako Ceramics knives took things to another level. I feel like I got my kitchen gadget fix again and my wife can't keep me out of the kitchen. These knives are MUCH sharper than any other ceramic knife I have purchased. They also come in a fancy box that I can't fathom throwing out. They're perfect as a travel case when I bring my knives over to my friends' houses for dinner parties.
The knives are lightweight with a very ergonomic handle that's just a joy to hold and use. I'll be ordering another set for my other apartment. You just can't beat the price and quality.
