The bed frame is crafted out of composite wood and Melamine laminate with profiled MDF molding. For even weight distribution and ample support, solid wood slats run vertically under the mattress. Drawers glide out on metal tracks with built-in stops for safety. While the bed frame requires the separate purchase of a standard 60-inch queen mattress, the platform design eliminates the need for a box spring. Prepac offers a matching storage headboard and other complementary espresso-finished bedroom pieces. Shipped flat with foam injection packaging, the platform frame comes with all necessary hardware for adult assembly. Wipe the platform bed clean with a damp cloth, taking care not to over-wet the MDF to prevent it from disintegrating. Do not finish or varnish the bed as it already has a laminate finish. For faulty parts, consumers benefit from a one-year, free part replacement program. Prepac covers this item with a 5-year limited warranty. Assembled, the platform bed measures 81-3/4 inches long by 63 inches wide by 18-3/4 inches high and weighs 120 pounds.

No instructions - 12 RIGHT sides of the drawers and no left! are they kidding? HUGE gash on the bed - AND multiple smaller ones! This bed is all press board - the only wood are the flimsy pieces that hold the mattress in place- with a large gap. I can't image anyone getting intimate on this either - since it shakes when I roll over! I was really looking forward to the extra storage. I wish I had just purchased some risers and storage containers. The only part of this I like was the head board - which was also scratched. I'd return it if it wasn't such a pain in the ass to put together.
